I have spent a lot of of hours inairports. Connecting flights with long wait times can be stressful and fun. I decided to observe, work and try and rest(I failed at this- the thought of missing flights just kept me awake😎).
I observed something from my view point: Ever known that planes do not reverse in the airport. They are pushed and pulled by a small vehicle called a pushback tractor. Tiny in all honesty compared to the massive planes they pull.
In aviation, pushback is an airport procedure during which an aircraft is pushed back away from an airport gate by an external power. Pushbacks are carried out by special, low-profile vehicles called pushback tractors or tugs. Although many aircraft are capable of moving themselves back on the ground using reverse thrust (a procedure referred to as a powerback), the resulting jet blast or prop wash may cause damage to the terminal building or equipment. Engines close to the ground may also blow sand and debris forward and then suck it into the engine, causing damage to the engine. A pushback is, therefore, the preferred method to move the aircraft away from the gate.

You are the plane. The mentor & opportunities are the pushback tractors who shos you to your path(runway). The pilots switch on the engine, tell you it's reverse time(at times) then they are reversed from parking and to their lanes. Wait for their times and then begin to speed off before they take off to the sky.
No matter how major an opportunity is, you have to be willing to: embrace it, act on it, run with it and fly away with it. Only then will you soar to the achievement skies.
